For the first time, the PCC available in Australia will contain four human coagulation factors.1

Australia’s human prothrombin complex product is being discontinued and will be replaced by a new product – Beriplex®.

Due to improvements in the manufacturing process of Beriplex® there are differences in the product.

During the transition to Beriplex® (manufactured from Australian-sourced plasma) there will be a short period where the available Beriplex® will be manufactured from globally-sourced plasma.
